Los Angeles is an industry town, and while we are a hub for aerospace and defense, fashion, biosciences, tourism, food manufacturing, publishing, and the number one international trade site in the United States (shout out to the ports of Long Beach!), most people when they think of LA, think of show business. And certainly, Hollywood can be a bit of an attention hog, so it’s easy to overlook all the other thriving aspects of our city.
While streaming and the pandemic have altered the rhythms of movie releases, they haven’t altered Hollywood’s penchant for releasing their Oscar-bait films at the end of the year, or for handing out lots of awards for those films.

While the concept of “best” is always suspect in any artistic endeavor—so much of what people respond to is subjective, after all—what these awards ceremonies do is raise awareness for smaller projects that might not always get the same kind of attention as blockbusters and tentpole films. And then there is the surrounding energy: the red-carpet moments, the fashion spreads, the gifting suites and parties, that contribute to the festive atmosphere of the season.
PopUP CleanUP has partnered with Oscars swag parties and Emmys gifting suites in the past. We know how to make your events look and feel clean with our pre-, live-, and post-event services. We have porters who will clear away your empty champagne glasses and crumpled napkins, and who will vacuum your red carpets until they are lint-free. Our disinfection and Covid screening check-in services can add an extra layer of precaution to keep you and your award honorees safe.
Fill out this form with your event details and needs right here and we will get back to you in one business day.
