To be eligible for this position, you must be able to work remotely and have access to a computer and wifi. Our Social Media Intern will manage the daily operations of our company’s social media accounts. They will conceptualize, pitch, and ultimately execute social media posts with the help of Canva and Social Pilot. As they continue to manage our accounts, they will track our social media statistics and help strategize consistent growth over time. They will also track client and potential client and partner social media accounts, websites, and press releases in order to discover engagement opportunities. They will write content, create visuals, and report monthly progress on all accounts. Our Social Media Intern will enjoy a great deal of independence and accountability, while working in collaboration with and having access to team members who will provide immediate advice and guidance.

Job Duties:

• Aid in development and execution of social media strategy
• Conceptualize, pitch, and execute multiple social media posts per week
• Externally engage with clients and potential clients and partners on behalf of PUCU on Twitter, LinkedIn, & Instagram
• Research our clients’ notable events or activities that we can signal boost on our accounts
• Develop graphics for the social media posts
• Collaborate with our creative team to create custom content for social media

Required Skills:

• 3.0 GPA
• Experience with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Familiarity with social media strategy
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Apple software suites
