In July 2021, PopUP CleanUP was hired for pre-, live-, and post-event cleaning services for an event put on to celebrate LeBron James’ appearance in a new Fortnite video. Unfortunately, King James was not present, but there were plenty of entertaining previews and interactive experiences with different elements of the game, including the characters.
They offered meals with toys for the kids, a live DJ, and cool art installations for people to take group photos against, which our team enjoyed.
An estimated 500-1000 people filtered through a vacant building on Beverly Boulevard in the West Hollywood that our team of four crew members transformed into an event space by dusting up cobwebs, sprucing up restrooms, sweeping the concrete floor, and wiping down all surfaces.
Because of Covid, our six porters made sure every table, counter, and high-touch surface was sanitized and disinfected throughout the day. We emptied garbage cans, and cleared away discarded food and beverage containers left around.
