Along with 11,000 other people in the janitorial industry, we attended ISSA 2022 in Chicago this year to check out what’s new in terms of products and technology. Although we didn’t get a chance to attend all the educational panels and informative sessions, we definitely discovered some new products we really liked and will be adding to our repertoire.
Tops on our list were the hot water pressure washers, large battery-powered push sweepers for live event debris clean up efficiency, floor and carpet scrubbing machines, battery-powered backpack vacuums, and fifty-five foot telescoping window washing until to improve our service offerings.
We also came home with a pour-away fluid separating retrofit trash can that allows people to dump their liquid before they discard their bottle or can, ordered some more regular and recycle Slim Jim trash containers, and scoped out some new trash haul trailers.
A first rate hub for manufacturers and distributors of cutting edge cleaning technology, ISSA 2022 also provided us with the opportunity to network with other cleaning professionals and meet with experts in green initiatives to help us on our journey to greater sustainability. Next year: Las Vegas.
